National Bagel Day

Did you know that Tuesday February 9th is National Bagel Day?

In honor of the occasion (no, not really), I have purchased a new Guillotine style Bagel Slicer.

Seriously...Jody and I have been enjoying bagels again...so I thought I would share the news about National Bagel Day.

  1. Dear Gary, I sent an email three weeks ago but no response. I have been using your non-organic Natural Value coconut milk because the ingredient list on the can itself stated that the only ingredients were coconut and water. The Amazon website has always listed guar gum in the ingredient list but I thought since the can itself said only coconut and water that was the truth. Now a relatively new review from a disappointed mother regarding the the non-organic coconut milk confirms that guar gum is now listed as an ingredient. Can you confirm that the non-organic coconut milk now contains guar gum? Thank you.

  2. I am eager to hear the answer to this too as I use your brand A Lot for the specific reason that I thought it did not contain guar gum. Please respond!

  3. I would also like to know the answer to this - if there is no guar gum, I will be buying it by the case on a regular basis as it is a staple in our home. Thank you!

  4. I would also love to know the answer to this. We buy your product by the cases and use it massive amounts of it. We will never be purchasing it agian if it has changed it formula. We only but it because it is affordable and has no junk in it like other brands. Thank you, we are eagerly waiting for you to respond, Christin

  6. I am sorry I didn't see these comments sooner...up until this post we weren't getting many comments. Now that there are comments I will check them more frequently. You will see a new post above about the coconut milk. Yes it has guar gum and some other things in it now and we are withdrawing it from the market. Please email me directly for a refund and sorry that we had this sudden unexplained change in our product.

  7. By the way, the light coconut milk has changed as well.
I leave for Bangkok on March 16th, arrive on March 17th, and my meeting with the coconut milk people is on March 18th.
So far they have not responded to any of my email requests wanting to know what happened.
